The GOWI number pad allows for self-checking of calculations using the following principle:
The result is exactly the same height as the stacked numbers (4 + 5 = 9). Children can therefore check their work by stacking the numbers from the math problem on top of each other, placing the result next to it, and comparing the heights of both towers. If the heights are the same, the answer is correct.

Learning with number blocks requires little instruction and develops strong confidence in working with numbers.
